In order to promote awareness and hopefully help detect glaucoma at the earliest stage, the Jewish General Hospital gives free monthly information sessions to anyone interested in the disease.
The JGH has been collaborating with McGill University and the MUHC since the fall of 2006 to help individuals with glaucoma control and stabilize their vision. Come and learn about the various functions of the eye, how glaucoma appears and how it is treated, and what medications work and how to use them properly. A doctor is available at the end of each session to answer questions.

Depuis l’automne 2006, l’HGJ collabore avec l’Université McGill et le CUSM pour aider les personnes atteintes de glaucome à contrôler leur vision et à la stabiliser. Venez apprendre à propos de fonctions variées de l’œil, comment le glaucome apparait et comment il est traité, ainsi que quels médicaments travails et comment les bien utilisés. Un médecin est disponible à la fin de chaque session pour répondre à toutes questions.
